Tom Hanafan River’s Edge Park

Tom Hanafan River’s Edge Park is located in Council Bluffs, Iowa along the Missouri River at the foot of the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, directly across from downtown Omaha. The park encourages public use and preserves key habitats. The five-acre great lawn, amphitheater, and open landscape can accommodate significant festivals and events while providing a dramatic view of the Omaha skyline. It is situated along the Council Bluffs trail system, which connects to the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge and winds through the city.
