Registration is open for the 2026 Healthiest State Annual Walk, which will take place October 7 across Iowa! The annual event encourages Iowans to participate in organized 30-minute walks at schools, workplaces and in their communities to raise awareness of physical and mental well-being. This year’s theme is “Moving Iowa Forward,” highlighting how small, healthy choices can contribute to improving health and well-being. Registration is free and available on the Iowa Healthiest State Initiative website. It is open to households, schools, workplaces, organizations and communities.
