Join us for a free screening of Project Hail Mary. Ryan Gosling stars as Ryland Grace, a science teacher who wakes up alone on a spaceship, light-years from Earth, with no memory of who he is or why he’s there. As fragments of his past come back, he realizes the fate of humanity rests on his shoulders and he has to solve an impossible problem to save the planet. Based on the bestselling novel by Andy Weir (author of “The Martian”), this sci-fi adventure is equal parts thrilling, funny, and heartfelt. SciFlix is a community outreach effort designed to openly and honestly discuss science, theories, and ethics in popular fiction. This film begins at 6 p.m. in Regnier Hall Auditorium. Stay after the screening for an audience Q&A session with a panel of experts who will provide their reactions to the film.
