DESCRIPTION:The School of Education & Human Sciences invites you to the 2026 Gene A. Budig Lecture featuring Dr. Hyesun Cho on Tuesday\, October 13\, 2026. She will be presenting "Teacher Identity\, Emotion\, and Agency Through Multimodal Writing." \n\nJoin Dr. Hyesun Cho as she discusses undergraduate and graduate student writing in TESOL teacher education\, drawing on examples from Teaching English in Korea\, a study abroad program she directs.\n\nThe presentation will explore how teacher identity\, emotion\, and agency are expressed through multimodal writing and reflective practice. Attendees will engage in discussions about the role of writing in identity negotiation and professional development for preservice and inservice teachers.\n\nA recording will be available after the lecture for those who can not attend in-person.
