SUMMARY:Teaching and Learning Literary Analysis with Conversational AI
DESCRIPTION:Kaylen Dwyer\, Digital Humanities Librarian\, KU Libraries\n\n \n\nJoin us for a hands-on workshop on using chat-based LLMs for computational literary analysis. While AI-generated summaries are framed as a study aid\, collaborator\, analyst\, or an object of critique\, most applications shift engagement to analysis of LLM output\, rather than literary texts. We will demonstrate how distant reading methods can ground conversational AI in the text and help you reach your own interpretive conclusions. This approach is welcoming to beginners and a playful way to explore a small corpus.\n\n \n\nNo programming experienced required. Please bring a laptop. \n\n \n\nRegister here
